iFolder Browser

The iFolder browser enables you to manage your iFolders. The table given below summarizes the iFolder browser elements:

Description

Create iFolder

Enables you to convert a folder on the local machine to an iFolder and upload it to the iFolder server that you are connected to.

Synchronize now

Enables you to immediately initiate a synchronization of iFolders on the local machine and the server.

Share with

Enables you to share your iFolder with other users.

Revert to a normal folder

Enables you to revert an iFolder to a normal folder. You can also delete the iFolder from the server. For more information, see Reverting an iFolder to a Normal Folder

Server

Displays the IP address of the iFolder server that you are connected to.

Name

Displays the name of the selected iFolder.

Owner

Displays the name of the owner of the selected iFolder.

Rights

Displays the rights that the owner of the iFolder possesses.

Files/folder to synchronize

Indicates the number of files or folders that are awaiting synchronization.

Last successful sync time

Indicates the time and date of the last successful synchronization

Download an iFolder

Enables you to download an iFolder from the iFolder server to your local machine.

iFolder type

Indicates if the selected iFolder is encrypted or regular.

iFolder size

Displays the size of the selected iFolder.

Merge

Merge helps you consolidate the iFolder data and minimize the data transfer between iFolder server and client. You can merge the content in an iFolder on the server with the content on an existing local machine folder content. For more information, see Merging iFolders

Delete from server

Enables you to delete the selected iFolder from the server.

Domain list

Displays the list of servers where you have an account configured.

Connect/Disconnect

Enables you to connect to or disconnect from an iFolder server. If you are connected to the iFolder server, the Disconnect button is displayed and if you are not connected to any iFolder server, the Connect button is displayed.

Resolve

Enables you to resolve file conflicts. To resolve file version conflicts, you must select the correct version in the Conflict Resolution dialog box. For more information, see Resolving File Conflicts

User

Displays the name of the user logged into the selected iFolder server.

No of iFolders

Displays the total number of iFolders on the iFolder server and the local machine for the selected iFolder server.

Disk Quota

Displays the values of Used and Available fields.

Used

Displays the total amount of server disk space currently consumed by all files and directories on the selected iFolder server.

Available

Displays the total amount of server disk space currently available for files or directories in the selected iFolder server.

Automatic sync

Displays the time interval between two consecutive automatic sync cycles
