Darstellungsprobleme bei 3D-Objekten k�nen h�ufig auch durch das Abschalten der Option "Open GL benutzen" unter Extras-Optionen-Ansicht-3D-Darstellung beseitigt werden.

If you experience OpenOffice.org startup problems (most notably while using Gnome) please 'unset' the SESSION_MANAGER environment variable inside the shell you use to start OpenOffice.org. This can be done by adding the line "unset SESSION_MANAGER" to the beginning of the soffice shell script found in the "[office folder]/program" directory.
In a ﾓth_THﾔ locale the Thai XIM will do the input sequence check so OpenOffice.org will not be able to normalize and auto-correct the Thai input sequences.
Please change the following line in your user environment settings before running the application.
XMODIFIERS="@im=BasicCheckﾔ or XMODIFIERS="@im=Strictﾔ
to (or add the following lines if they do not exist at all):

The best way to start contributing is to subscribe to one or more of the mailing lists, lurk for a while, and gradually use the mail archives to familiarize yourself with many of the topics covered since the OpenOffice.org source code was released back in October 2000. When you're comfortable, all you need to do is make an email self-introduction and jump right in.
